Political Views

I thought that as Americans are gearing up for political elections in the November, I would share the Swiss version of political advertising for their elections October 3rd. There are these life size cut outs of people running for office every where – in the bushes, in the fields, next to doors, etc… They look life like at first. So, if you are not paying close attention, they seem to pop out of nowhere. There messages seem to be much kinder then those of the US. I will try to add more photos of these cut outs to show you all the different locations they are in. Could you imagine Barrack Obama or Tim Pawlenty popping out bushes to advertise??

Your blog is wonderful! You’re doing Switzerland right, but it’s hard to do it any other way!!

Thanks Dave. We’re doing our best to keep you all up-to-date. There are, of course, ups and downs to moving away from our friends and family for 2 years (with occasional visits). That said, we’re certainly broadening our horizons – and finding new friends along the way!
