Spring has sprung here in Switzerland. After two gorgeous days of sunshine and warm temperatures earlier this week, the spring flowers can be seen popping up everywhere. They are so pretty.
The Swiss enjoy two types of grass: neatly mowed for sitting on and then “wild, long” grass. In this “wild” grass you will find all kinds of wild spring flowers.
All of these photos of flowers were taken around our apartment building yesterday. We had a gentle rain in the afternoon and as I was leaving to get the kids from school, I noticed the rain had stopped. So I thought I would grab a few photos of the pretty flowers.
Hope you enjoy.

Oh, the little spring flowers are so pretty! I could sit and look at them all day. I am so jealous because we got about 5 inches of snow yesterday and temps are back down to 15 degrees.
No flowers here! The high today in the Chicago area may reach 35, but we’re not in for any warm-up very soon.
