First full day for my parents here in Switzerland

My parents, Cal &  Bonnie Rossmann, safely arrived from Wisconsin in America yesterday at 1037am via a very safe flight with Swiss Air. We got them all unpacked and settled in before heading to the kids school to pick them up at the end of their day. We managed to keep my parents awake for most of the day so they could adjust to our time. We are 7 hours ahead of Wisconsin.

Today, was still a day of rest. I did take them to the lake front near Old Town Zug to see the Alps, animals, and very ornately decorated/painted buildings in Old Town as well as the pretty flowers planted along the way. Unfortunately, our time was cut short due to the rain that moved in, but I promise to take them back to finish the tour. Before the rain moved in, the sky was so clear that you could identify a number of the Alps including Mönch, Eiger, Jungfrau, Pilatus, and Rigi. We ended the day with an impromptu sight reading concert during Zach’s trombone lesson with music from all around the world.
