Monday was a bit of a soggy day here in Switzerland. So we took a little trip south to just northern end of Lucern and to the base of Mt. Pilatus to the Glasi Hergiswil factory. We toured the 20 minute audio tour on the history of glass. We spent a little while watching the glass makers work. Mom guided us successfully in the glass maze without having to retrace our steps. We tried out glass instruments and gadgets. They even made wine glass music. Great activity for a rainy day.

I visited the Glasi last week with an American friend and we spent several hours there enjoying all the different activities. He even blew glass himself (with the help of one of the workers). Great trip for a gray day!
