Katelyn’s birthday isn’t until April 29, but Cal and Bonnie depart before then, so we celebrated early with a ride up the Zugerberg, lunch at the Hintergeissboden and a birthday cake picnic.
We all feeling spry as we sucked in the fresh “berg” air, so we hopped on the seesaw, rode the zip line and had a nice walk to the restaurant where we enjoyed their friendly hospitality.
On Friday, Katelyn shared her wish to have a birthday picnic on the lawn above our apartment, so we obliged with chocolate cake by Bonnie and Kim and homemade ice cream.
Blue sky, smiles, laughs – a great way to make a few more memories.
