All the way ’round

We have Ascension Day off here in Zug and Zach has been asking to take advantage of the free bike lending system, so we did.

Zach began the day saying that he wanted to ride all the way around, so the challenge was on. The distance around Lake Zug is about 40 kilometers (25 miles), however we didn’t follow along the lake, so the ride was a bit longer.

The ride heads south through Oberwil, Walchwil to Arth, then up through Immensee, Risch-Rotkreuz, then back east through Hünenberg, Cham, and Baar into Zug.

Spontaneous? Yes. Tiring? Pretty much. Memorable? Absolutely.

Enjoy The Ride

Your ride surely beats the Fox River Trail here at home! It’s been awhile since I’ve done 25 miles, but I still enjoy riding along the river. : )

A friend at work (well versed in many areas of music) found the tune for me. Originally, I was rather unoriginal as I had used Queen’s bicycle tune. However, I can’t stand the center section of that song which talks rather negatively about God and uses the Lord’s name in vein. Urcked me every time I listened to it. So, I was on the hunt for a tune that fit our personalities better.
