Ah, the wonder of a 3-day weekend. Rather than lamenting the end of respit as Sunday move on, the extra day shifts the midway, breathing new life into the afternoon.
Today, Kim drove Zach and his friend to a Bible study Zach lead at Luke’s house. This left Katelyn and me with a little down time – so, we used it!
I asked Katelyn what she wanted to do, and as we talked I could tell she had some creative inspiration just waiting to be released, so we took the bus down to old town. There, Katelyn sketched the mountains from the lake shore, then we enjoyed a brief stroll.
Times like these are permanently imprinted in our minds.
- The artist and her supplies on the way to the bus
- Heading through old town to the lake front
- The view upon arrival, facing south on Lake Zug
- Katelyn sketching on the shore
- Taking a break to spin in the streets!
- Strolling through town back to the bus for the ride up the Zugerberg
- The Pulverturm Zug, near our bus stop waiting for the ride home
