Jitters and Excitement!!

Today is the first day of a new school year at ISZL (International School of Zug and Lucern). You can feel the excitement and some jitters in the air on this gorgeous sunny and very warm morning. High of 90’F is forecaste for today. Today marked a new adventure for Katelyn as well – a middle school student in Grade 6 in a new building, but the same campus as last year in Walterswil. Zach is now in Grade 10 in the same school as last year in Hünenburg. This is going to be a very exciting year of new adventures, opportunities and experiences. This fall the kids will attend their PDW’s (Personal Development Weeks.) Zach will head to Crete (Greece) for a week while Katelyn heads to Cortona, Italy in the hills of Tuscany to study medieval history. Zach has also advanced to the Kadet band on trombone at the Musik Schule of Zug and will be learning & teaching others the Alphorn for his grade 10 personal project.

Let the fun begin!!
