Seespitz, Linderhof Castle, Monastery and Steffl

This day began with a foggy sunrise, lead us along emerald green rivers and lakes to a frosted castle, then tasty game at the Ettal Monastery, on to artisan wood works, Italian dinner, splashing in the pool, then a peaceful close to the day.

Linderhof Castle is one of King Ludwig’s 4 castles. This castle and one in Munich are the ones he spent the most time at. Linderhof Castle, he spent 14 days a month at for 8 years. This castle is nestled into the Bavarian Alps – about an hours drive by car from Neuschwanstein Castle.

The captioned photos capture the day.
