Mayer Lutheran High Football Game with Pep Band

Zach has invited us all to come to Mayer Lutheran High School to watch the football game and listen to the pep band. Aaron’s parents were in town visiting for the weekend, so we made an evening of it. The Pep Band performed before the game and during half time.

Mayer Lutheran High School won 43-13. What I appreciate about sports (we are not sports fans generally) is that every game is started with the national anthem of the United States – The Star Spangled Banner. I missed that at Zach’s basketball games in Switzerland. Christian sport games are also started with prayer to God for the safety and sportsmanship of the players.

Video of the band to come….
