Zach Ties Flies

Mayer Lutheran High School offers a J-term each January that gives the students 4 days off their regular course work to study something else that interests them. Some of the courses offered are: wild Minnesota – learn to tie flies and ice fish, gourmet cooking with the principal, Mr. Wilaby, corporate structure of local businesses, wood carving, photography, and many others. Zach participated in Wild Minnesota led by Pastor Wismar and Mr. Aurich. The students learned how to tie fishing flies and participated in 2 days of ice fishing on Lake Waconia. Zach really enjoyed these new experiences.
